Ban on children riding quad bikes rejected

The Government, Federated Farmers and the Children’s Commissioner have rejected the idea of banning children from riding quad bikes, despite the death of a six-year-old girl at the weekend. Emergency services were called to the Thundercross Valley Bike Park, 20km west of Huntly, about 3pm on Saturday after Amber Taylor Vincent was killed.
