Who Are We?
American Income was founded more than half a century ago with just $25,000 in borrowed capital, and today has become one of the nation’s largest providers of supplemental life insurance to labour unions, credit unions and associations. American Income first appeared on the business landscape with a truly unique idea – developing a niche marketplace selling supplemental life insurance products to labor unions and working families in America.
The founding principle was to improve the quality of life of the working class and to provide opportunity unlimited to all who become associated with American Income Life and our sister company, National Income Life. We’ve succeeded in that endeavor.
Today, American Income Life Insurance is licensed in 49 states, the District of Columbia, New Zealand, and Canada – and our subsidiary Company, National Income Life Insurance Company is licensed in New York. We are a strong company and have been rated A+ (Superior) for overall financial strength by A.M. Best, one of the country’s oldest and most respected insurance ratings company (rating as of June 2009).
What Do We Do?

As an American Income licensed representative, you would be the liaison between the Company and the customer in providing supplemental life and health insurance to the members and families of labor unions, credit unions and associations. No sales degrees needed, or prior selling experience. People from all walks of life have joined our team and so can you!
