Congratulations to Jason, Debbie and Niu for making the Wall of Fame in December!

Agent of the Month

Jason Siliva

Jason is a nice young man who works with Ofa’s agency and he has been shown by one of the best ever how to be a star! Jason demonstrated that he wanted success in a shorter period of time more than most. He basically qualified for the Punta Cana Convention according to the preliminary figures in just 1 single month. His bonuses have been huge and so is his future setting new records and wanting to set new benchmarks NZ is famous for. I also noticed yesterday in his hand around 20 CV’s that are going to meet him in the Bay of Plenty to seek a career with AIL and AIL of NZ. He wants to be a top manager and I wouldn’t expect any less from a guy like Jason.

Manager of the Month

Debbie Moke

I knew when I met Debbie for the first time a few months ago, she was that kind of gal that would do what she said she would do. Well guess what, she is a doer. I am really impressed with her and she is now a top recruiter as well. I just got my list of who the first people are for the receiving of the New Company Personal Recruiting bonus and she is on top of the list getting her first amount of cash for achieving this. She also just got promoted again at our Kick Off Meeting on Monday and we are sending our Trainer Stu down to Roturua shortly to train the 10 or more new agents starting next week in the Roturua team. Well Done Debbie!

Employee of the Month

Niu Ah Lam

Niu is a happy person that calls for our verification and confirmation division and takes calls from policyholders too. Niu deserves the recognition for being a great staff member. Your parking space is there ready for you and so is your reward voucher for being selected for being that Special Employee of the Month.

Congratulations to all and let’s make 2012 that special kind of organisation that makes us the best in the world!

Congratulations to Jamie, Afuiva and Miguel for making Wall of Fame in November!

Employee of the Month

Jamie Jackson

Jamie has demonstrated that a great attitude, big smile, and looking after our policyholders from our office goes a long way. She used to be in the hospitality business so she knows that serving people the right way is the only way. Congratulations Jamie, your special voucher and parking spot is yours.

Manager of the Month

Afuiva Vaai

Our Wellington manager Afuiva Vaai is our November Manager of the Month. We call her Eva. Eva has been a wonderful inspiration for the team in Wellington. Her positive attitude is so awesome that she makes the team she leads excited and ready to help others. I know she is going to end 2011 in style and just wait and see what she does in 2012.

Agent of the Month

Miguel Cotrina

Our POS team member Miguel Cotrina has been on our weekly top of the list for all of November so I am watching him help our policyholders review their current policies and he informs them of their new options. He is a smart guy that makes sure all of our policyholders get the best in service. Thanks for helping our people Miguel!

The affirmation of TMK’s ratings reflects Fitch’s view that the company’s financial and operating profiles continue to be consistent with rating expectations. TMK’s operating earnings have proven resilient during the economic crisis and Fitch expects the consistent, strong earnings at TMK’s insurance subsidiaries will further improve capital in 2012.

Fitch views TMK’s capital as adequate for its current ‘A+’ IFS rating. Fitch estimates TMK’s total adjusted capital (TAC) and NAIC Risk Based Capital (RBC) to be $1.3 billion and 328%, respectively, at Sept. 30, 2011. TAC and RBC are lower than year-end 2010′s 421% and $1.7 billion due to large dividends paid to the holding company, primarily to fund 2011 share repurchases. TMK’s Sept. 30, 2011 is close to the 325% RBC target set by the company and in line with rating expectations.

Congratulations to Sala, Christa and Steven for making Wall of Fame in October!

Employee of the Month

Sala Luitai

Sala works in our confirmation, verification and Policyholder Assistance Department. She is great on the phone and I have seen her in action handling some very interesting phone calls. She is someone that helps us in many ways and we are proud to see her earn this special reward. She will get her gift voucher and a special parking spot with her name on it.

Manager of the Month

Christa Van Staden

Christa works in Hawke’s Bay and is a bright young lady who is not afraid to work and travel to place her Child Safe Boxes. She is from South Africa and loves her lollies, especially good chocolate. She knows what she needs to do to get on top and has the confidence to get it done. Congratulations Christa and continue to work hard to make the Dominican Republic Convention. You can do it!

Agent of the Month

Steven Cox

Steve runs our Christchurch office and has beaten all obstacles to make a mark in our company. He attended our Leader Development School in Texas. He has demonstrated what it takes to bring good people into his agency and produce great results! His quality of business is near the top of the agency because of his customer service and follow-up. He is currently experiencing his most success since joining AIL and I know he is getting ready for a big year end and even better year in 2012.

A garage sale, soup kitchen, camp-out, and scavenger hunt are set to get the employees and general public’s generosity juices flowing and to support an important cause in the community. To read more and learn how to donate visit http://www.ailgiving.com.

Community involvement is a foundation of the AIL philosophy of doing business. Founded more than 50 years ago, American Income Life Insurance Company is now one of the nation’s largest providers of supplemental life insurance to labor unions, credit unions, and associations.
